I am thrilled to share a significant milestone in our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. We have a bold step towards reducing our environmental footprint by installing a state-of-the-art 01 Mega Watt Solar System at our Spinning Unit. This initiative not only marks our dedication to a cleaner future but also underscores our responsibility towards the community and the planet.
According to our calculations, our solar system will produce about 1,565,000 kWh of electricity per year, which is equivalent to avoiding 1,175 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. This is also equivalent to planting 27,461 trees or taking 217 cars off the road. Our solar system will also help us save about Rs. 63,226,000 per year on our electricity bills, which means we can invest more in our core business and improve our products and services.
